We would like to welcome two new additions to our office team – Marisa Wegrzyn, a new Customer Service Representative and Colin Freeburg, our new office intern, both hired in May 2008. We bid farewell to Julie Gauthier, our intern for the past eight months who recently graduated from Canisius College and is moving on to a career in public accounting. The Traffic Safety Products Division would like to inform you of new Federal Regulations regarding Retroreflectivity. Final Rule: Maintaining Traffic Sign Retroreflectivity is far reaching in effect and applies to most regulatory, warning, street name and both ground-mounted and overhead guide signs - whether permanent, temporary or portable - on all public roads and private property where the public is invited to travel. Eberl Iron Works’ Traffic Safety Products Division is your source for MUTCD Compliant Signs. Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-285-3056 if you have any questions about the new Federal Rules. Our knowledgeable staff is prepared to answer your questions!
The overhead configuration for extended-height hookup offers extended work range while reducing dangerous swinging after a fall. The overhead setup consists of two treated stainless steel transfasteners joined by a spring-loaded, zinc plated yoke assembly. The Systems Installation Division would like to showcase a unique use of the ManSafe transfastener. SOLO-STEP is a rehabilitation support system that provides numerous benefits to patients, therapists and facilitites. The system is designed for safety, comfort and simplicity, and can accomodate patients from size XS-XXXL. See the difference between traditional and SOLO-STEP rehab in the photos below.
Benefits to patients include reduced fear of falling, increased confidence, and a safe atmosphere for balance and gait training. For therapists, SOLO-STEP allows time to focus on the client rather than anticipate falls and therefore, increases productivity. The system is also cost-effective and space saving.
