We would also like to welcome a new addition to our team - Glen Brennan, hired in October 2007 as Machine Assistant.

The Traffic Safety Products Division has added a new product to its line - the Deer/Vehicle Collision Reduction System by STRIETER-LITE®. Some of the benefits of this system are:

The Metal Fabrication Division had a record year for tonnage shipped out - over 3 million pounds! This is an increase of over 13% compared to 2006 - using the same number of man hours! In eight months out of twelve we exceeded last year's monthly average. In four months out of twelve, we exceeded the previous year's record. We attribute our ability to process this extra weight to increased efficiencies from Lean Manufacturing and our new Hydraulic Shear.

Due to Lean, our shop is cleaner, more efficient and handles more volume with less of a backlog. Every staff member has been trained to find ways to eliminate waste and improve work flow. Our NEW hydraulic shear is safer, quieter and has added features compared to our old mechanical shear. The machine has added not only to our shearing capacities, but also our economies.
