What's New? There has been lots of activity in the second quarter of 2007! The wrap-up of our Lean grant, a milestone for one of our owners, three new hires, new products and new website offerings! We have come to the end of our Lean Manufacturing grant. However, we see this as just the beginning of "Lean" at Eberl Iron Works. It has been a life-changing experience for everyone involved! Our shop is cleaner, more efficient and handles more volume with less of a backlog. We can't say enough about how much of a difference Lean has made to our organization. Visit our website at www.eberliron.com/about_lean_manufacturing.php to learn more about the grant and see "Before and After" photos. In the last few months one of our Co-Owners reached a milestone - his 40 year anniversary with the company! Congratulations and Thank You to Frank Eberl for his years of service to our organization. We would also like to welcome three new additions to our team - Kenneth Gilliam, hired in April 2007 as Machine Assistant, Dennis Simm, a Canisius College student, hired in May 2007 as General Business Intern, and Vishwac Sena Kannan, a UB Masters student, hired in December 2006 as IT Intern.
The Traffic Safety Products Division has been keeping busy with inquiries from its 35 page full color catalog. Of particular popularity is the TSP Division's Roll Up Signs. We offer four NCHRP-350 approved sign stands - Twinflex™, Dynaflex™, Single Spring & Springless, as well as 36 lb. rubber bases with step-down activated release. The roll-up sign frames have a spring-loaded sign panel for quick set-up and take down, and accomodate 36" or 48" signs. Standard flourescent orange roll-up signs are available in Reflexite Non-Reflective as well as Reflexite Super Bright™, 3M Diamond Grade and Reflexite Marathon™. There are 10 stock legends which are pre-screened on 36" x 36" and 48" x 48" sign faces. Many other legends are available upon request. We also have the ability to manufacture custom signs to meet your specifications. Call our customer service department at 800-285-3056 to customize your roll-up sign today!

The Systems Installation Division would like to introduce you to a unique vertical ManSafe system called LadderLatch. This system provides unparalleled protection for personnel working at height on any type of fixed ladder. ManSafe LadderLatch can be installed internally and externally including in harsh environments such as oil rigs and on applications exposed to low temperatures. Importantly, ManSafe LadderLatch provides continuous protection and gives workers the flexibility to use both hands as they go about their duties while still remaining firmly attached to the system. Unlike hoop systems, which are often attached to ladders, the ManSafe LadderLatch system has no obstructions that could cause serious injury while arresting a fall. Call our Fall Protection Systems expert, Frank Eberl, for more information at 800-285-3056.
