U-Channel 42'' Sign Post Base - 2, 2.5, and 3 lbs/ft

High tensile, rib-bak steel anchor posts. Use in conjunction with u-channel post and breakaway lapsplice harware to form a two-part breakaway post sytem. Drive anchor post into the ground, except for the top 4 inches, and secure top post to anchor post using lapsplice hardware.

  • Tapered, on one end, for ease of installation
  • Holes are punched beginning 30" from tapered end
  • Holes are 3/8" diameter, 1" on center
Makes replacement a breeze: anchor posts remains in the ground when top post is impacted by vehicle; just replace top post and hardware.
